Fulham is extremely proud of its Academy, which holds Category 1 status and has long been regarded as one of the leading youth development teams in the UK. The Academy is a fundamental part of Fulham’s football development plan and we remain committed to ensuring that players have pathways to make successful journeys in all phases of their development, from youth football to the professional game.
The Academy Director is the leader of the Academy, responsible for providing first class guidance and organisation on all Academy matters. The Academy Director will lead the day-to-day operation of the Academy, including by ensuring that it recruits and retains the best young players and maintains the highest standards in its activities across the programme. The Academy Director will have the ability to interact with people at all levels, including by effectively managing staff in a variety of functions (both football and non-football) and by being an excellent ambassador for the Club (both internally and externally).
The Academy Director will be tasked with: (i) continuing (and improving) on Fulham’s tradition of producing high quality players to play in Fulham’s first team; (ii) maintaining the Club’s Category 1 status and high performance across a range of performance metrics; and (iii) creating a collaborative and harmonious staff, which works together to deliver the best experience to all those who work at, and interact with, the Academy.
